If you are a (MTF) Male to Female Transsexual considering Transitioning or (RLT) Real Life Test the first thing you have to do is have your beard and mustache removed. There are two ways to do this. Electrolysis or Laser hair removal. There are arguments about the permanance of Laser but there are many satisfied clients of both. The important thing to realize is that you will need to grow your beard out slightly for each session if you are going for Electrolysis. This will make it awful difficult to pass as a woman until you are done. Make-up and a beard don't mix well. However if you are going for Laser you will need to shave the hairs first as the Laser can then better reach the part of the hairs within the follicle rather than just the part above the skin surface. "I am located just outside of Nashville, TN . I have been working with transgenders for 8 years now and seen several to the very end of their hair removal process. I work two days a week at a salon in Nashville where I have access to a Candella laser which is one of the best on the market. I am charging fifty % off since it is a lot of hair to take off, $50 for 2hrs for low income outside of my zipcode and $60 2hrs close to my zipcode and $80 2hrs non-low income and for my faithful clients I give them 30 minutes free, a courtesy from levi's electrolysis, and also I give free gift certificates for all the TGLBIQ leaders in Houston, since all of them already spend a lot of money in the laser. I have to have those prices for them, it is really a waste of money on the laser so far with the clients that I have had, and also I specialize in the Blend Method for people with straight hair every week for six months 2,3hrs block, and for wavy, kinky hair 3,4hrs block time for six months. I try my best for them to see results over all in less than 1yr on full face, I give them 30minutes courtesy when they want their armpits, chest and the rest of the body to be treated after the full face is done, the courtesy is only in the painful areas; upper lip/lower lip bikini line/SRS and eye brows."
