The mission of Laura's Playground is to provide a safe personal support site for Transgendered, Transsexual, Intersexxed, Androgyne, Crossdressers and their partners and families. We also hope to help reduce the astronomical suicide rate among our group. In keeping with that tradition we offer peer to peer Transgender, Transsexual, Crossdresser, Intersexual, Androgyne and Family and Wives Support Group meetings in our various online chat rooms. We support both FTM and MTF. All of our Full Moderators are certified in Youth Suicide Prevention. We are one of the few Transgendered places you can get Transsexual, Transgender, Transgenderist, Crossdresser, Intersex, and Androgyne Online Help and Support.

Transgendered, Transsexual Teens Online Support group Meetings Teen ONLY

This group will meet every Saturday at 1PM Eastern Time And Sunday night at 8 Pm in the teens chat room on Laura's Playground. It is open for Transgendered young adults ages 13 to 24 for MTF's, FTM's Transgendered, Transsexuals, Crossdressers and those that question their gender. Learn how to raise your self esteem, aceptance and how to gain support and help. Moderator: Whatever Staff Member(s) is on and free at the time.

Parents of Transgendered and Transsexual Kids Online Support Group Meetings Parents or Guardians Only

This Support Meeting is for Parents or Guardians of TG, TS, CD or Intersex Kids. Transgender Kids have very special needs and outcome all depends on the earliest possible diagnosis and Treatment. 50% of Transgender Teens will Have had at least one SUICIDE attempt by their 20th birthday. 70% either cut themselves daily or mutilate genital and other areas. Adult Transgendered have a 31% suicide rate. Treatment by a qualified Gender Therapist is essential. Meetings are run every Thursday night at 8PM EST - 10PM EST (or until they end if they run over as often times they do), by Monica_Jennifer, Michelle_N, MichelleA, and Mittens_Kittens. Meet with Parents and Ask Questions Online Support Group Meetings

This meeting is held in the Parents Room on Monday nights from 9:00 PM Eastern to 10 PM Eastern, for members to meet parents and ask questions and get advice. Parents Group members have agreed to attend so that members may ask advice and questions. It has become apparent to us that members have a need to meet with and ask parents questions .. as each week we have had members asking to attend the Thursday Parents Group to meet parents. From now on you will all have that option only on Monday nights from 9 pm Eastern till 10 pm eastern. No longer will non parents or family of a tg person have the option to attend on Thursday nights. In this way parents will still have their own group to meet and talk without interuption by members whom are not parents. Moderators: Monica_Jennifer and Mittens_Kittens. Transgendered Parents Support Group Meetings

This is a new meeting held in the Parents Room on Tuesday nights from 9:00 PM Eastern (8 PM Central) till when it ends, for those parents whom are TG themself. Moderators : Gwenbeth. and ~david~. Location: Parents of TG Kids Chat Room.

Wives of Transgender, Crossdressers and Transsexuals online support Group meetings Wives Partners (SO) and Family and Friends only

This group meets every Sunday and Monday at 9 Pm Eastern Time in the Significant Others chat room on Laura's Playground. Learn the facts about being transgendered. Expressing one's True self can often be a Matter of Life or Death. Being TG is inborn not a life style choice. Learn how to support your spouse as well as gaining support for yourself. Moderated by Anyushka (Anne).

A SO group will also be held in the Significant Others chat room on Tuesday nights at 7:00 PM Eastern. It will be Moderated by 4MySOJenn_ImMichelle (Michelle). this group was added to accomodate those whom can not make either the Sunday or the Monday groups.

This group meets every Monday and Friday at 8 Pm Eastern Time in the FTM chat room on Laura's Playground. Open to all FTM's. Come chat and gain support with guys just like yourself. Moderated By Alex_Chad.

Post Op General Q&A, 18+. Hosted by Synyster will meet each Saturday 1 PM - 3 PM EST in the PostOp room!. Ask any serious question about gender role; transition through surgery; and beyond!

MTF Post-op Transsexual Online Support Group

Post Op General Q&A, 18+. Hosted by Ashley40 will meet each THURSDAY 8 PM EST in the PostOp room!. Ask any serious question about gender role; transition through surgery; and beyond! Don't expect much sugar coating.

MTF's Male to Female Transsexuals Online Chat Support Group Meetings MTF ONLY

Starting at 9 PM eastern time MTF Transsexuals will meet every Monday and Saturday Night. Talk about transition, therapists, treatment and other items of interest. Moderated by Ashley40, Drea, Tinkerbell, Megan, and Dani4life. Meeting will be in the MTF Transsexual room.

Intersex Online support Group Meetings

Intersex Meetings are held every Wednesday at 8 PM Eastern time. Moderator: Samantha.

Crossdressers Online support Group Meetings

Crossdressers meetings are held on Tuesday's at 8 pm Eastern time. Moderators: RitaCD50 and sometimes Angela_ph.

Transgender AA and NA Online Substance Abuse Support Group. A meeting for alcohol abusers and drug users based on Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcitics Anonymous AA/NA Style. The group is run and Moderated by: Michelle Doe and VickySGV who are AA members. Meets every Sunday Night at 9 PM in the substance abuse chat room.

A second AA and NA meeting is held on Thursday nights starting at 5 PM Eastern and is Moderated by ChefChristina.

TG Couples This is a meeting both for the TG and their wives partners or husbands. Over 18 as mature subjects will be discussed. Both partners should attend. Meetings will be held every Saturday starting at 5 PM Eastern time. Moderator will be Alissa.

Androgyn Support meetings. There are far more Androgyn's in the Transgender Community than previously thought. Support meetings are held every Sunday at 4:00 PM Eastern Time. The group Moderator : (At present there is no moderator for this meeting.)

Most of our moderators have taken, or are taking, Professional Youth Suicide prevention courses to provide you with support. They have the experience of interacting with 4.6 million transgender users.
