I am an educator certified in English Language Arts and Theatre Arts. My theatre background has given me a wide variety of construction and electrical skills. I have worked in jobs from customer service and sales to bid analysis (very skilled in computer environments...I can make the things work well). Oh, what else...I'm also a writer (I'll have my MFA sometime next year).

Hello,
I managed a Sports Hall . This involved all the clerical work, responsibility re the staff, the hall , the clients .
Burned me out in about 4 years . I am now a manual labourer and much happier (same pay, more time off) .
Thing is , I miss the buzz, the interaction with my clients. Sorry I went on , wont get the chance to say that again.

I'm a Clinical Biochemist in a hospital. I analyse and interpret blood results, including endocrine ;)
I'm happy to help if anyone has any questions about stuff, though I'm not a medical doctor (I do have a PhD so I have the wonderfully non-gender-specific "Dr" on my credit cards, very handy when shopping :) )

I am the operations manager for a transportation company. I have been doing this for 11 years now. I would say I could go anywhere in the transportation field and be able to fit right in.

I know the project is on hold currently but still thought I'd add my skills to this forum. I'm certified as a Firefighter level I and II in the state of virginia (it wouldn't be too hard for me to transfer that to a different state. I have the knowledge just need to test). Alongside firefighting I have HAZMAT Ops and Awareness (again in the state of virginia), and finally I'm also a nationally registered EMT-Basic. The military though has given me the knowledge almost equivalent to a paramedic, I would just need to brush up on Cardiology/Pharmacology. In some areas, specifically trauma management I'm at the physician assistant knowledge level due to the nature of my work as an Army combat medic. There are some aspects of my job like field surgery that are far and beyond anything a civilian paramedic will ever do.

I am a nurse with experience in acute care and long term care. I mowed lawns and painted houses while in college. Before that I travelled for a couple of years working in bars and working as a cook in restaurants.

I have been in the field of architecture most of my life. Project management to be specific. My degree is in engineering technology. I started out that way but figured out after a few years I liked architecture better.

Hugs,
Daphene

My military skills are all outdated now except the expert rifle/pistol qualifications. I have an MBA, 30 years of teaching adults in electronics and business as well as years of experiece as a University Academic Dean/Director. Hopefully being retired I won't need any of these skils. I do however keep up those other qualifications. B)

I'm graduating with a degree in Sociology, I'm also a certified lifeguard, and bartender(thats not really an important skill/training to have, I just thought id mention it too) I don't know how much any of that would help, but I really love the idea of an LGB town, and would absolutely love to be a part of it someday :)
