"Is it really worth it anymore?"
"I don't know."
"Can't keep up with schoolwork..."
"No I can't... I'm not sure if I'm even going to pass..."
"You're having such a difficult time with getting hormones..."
"Yeah I am, I have to wait until January for an appointment that might or might not help me."
"Your mom is always upset, you can't stand her..."
"No, I can't..."

Just some of the stuff I've been thinking about... I just don't know if it's worth it to be alive anymore, I don't see the point... I'm just going to suffer and suffer my whole life and suffer some more... I just don't know... It's like a constant struggle in my head to decide lately...

"Can't keep up with schoolwork..." get a tutor, seek help from your teacher after class
"No I can't... I'm not sure if I'm even going to pass..." From looking at your avatar I honestly don't think you need to worry about passing
"You're having such a difficult time with getting hormones..." You'll get them eventually
"Yeah I am, I have to wait until January for an appointment that might or might not help me." Just be calm and don't freak out if the doctor asks you to remove your binder for the session. I know you don't like taking it off but it's a necessary evil to placate the doctor.

It's always worth it to be alive. You can't make waves in the world if you aren't, and you strike me as someone born to cause a whirlwind!

Yes, life is always going to be hard. It is for everyone, trans or not. It's what you accomplish in the face of adversity that makes you "You", not the ease with which you pass through life.

Everyone is entitled to weak moments, we all have them, but you are NOT weak. I don't even know you, and I can see that from what you write here. So no giving up for you. You have it in you to be a leader, someone who others in "their" weak moments can look up to and say, "Hey, he had it rough, but look how far he made it!"

I'm almost old enough to be your mother, and I already admire you. Don't ever give up.

*Hugs*

Lewis hon,

I know this won't make sense to you today, but listen to me please....

Your life as a teenager is not anything that your life will be like when you are an adult.

Keep on working, you will get there. Stay in school and focus on your school work. The teenage years are the years of the greatest change in one's life and is the shortest period in one's life. You are a teenager for only 6 years. You are an adult forever.

Lewis, the years go by so fast, and you are going to change so much in the next two years. Believe me. Things are going to get so much better!!!

Love

Brenda

Hi Lewis

I know your having a tough time right now, my teenage years were real tough on me also. My family swore that I would be dead before my 21st birthdays just like my father and you know what I proved them wrong, I've even doubled it. You will get on testosterone before to much longer if you just listen and follow your caregivers orders. That is part of the S.O.C. and if you can't they will refuse your request until you do follow. Your life is important and who knows what impact on the world you have yet to make, but that will never happen if you decide to give up on yourself. There is a life out there for you just be a man and get through school. As for your mother your not far from adulthood and once you get there you'll never have to put up with her, if that's what you want. Just be patient you will get this and become the man you see yourself to be, Mr Awesome. Oh yea on the passing I think your a good looking hunk of young man, it's all attitude sir.
