I saw an advertisement for this at Gamestop today. I can't wait for this game to come out. Unfortunately is the release date. It hits PC this September, but won't come out on consoles (PS3, Xbox, etc.) until March of next year, and I don't want to spend the money it would take to upgrade my computer to run it. Looks like I'm gonna have to wait until March. Anyone else looking forward to FF XIV?

I had been looking forward to it way back, but now that we have more information I'm not. Lack of any PvP and the slow pace of combat really make me think they didn't learn much of anything from 11, that's just my 2 cents though.

Combat isn't slow pace at all if you watch the Beta videos, and I'm sure PvP will be added, just not world PvP

I've been looking forward to it for about 6 months, it'll be nice to have another MMO out there that isn't awful like WoW

I've been waiting for this game since it was announced. I've been a semi-avid player for 11 for quite some time (I play on and off, never for more than a few months at a time). Also, it isn't coming to 360 and most likely wont. SE has been having issues with Live and how much of a closed network it is so they're just not going to bother with it.

I'm looking forward to this game but my computer can barely run WoW. xD So yeah, I'm looking forward to getting a job and buying those computers and laptops I've always wanted ever since I've encountered the enemy called "lag". I'm trying to decide if I want to buy a desktop or laptop first and then use it as my replacement or go ALL out and buy a mid to high-end laptop or desktop.

I missed FF11 when it came out and I never got a chance to raid Molten Core like everyone else did since their computers were better than mine. I didn't get to start out on the first day like everyone in Aion or Warhammer. It's my turn. :< I doubt I'll be able to buy a computer by September though. I'll have to wait for the next MMORPG to come out and do all of the things I've always wanted to do.
