Please read the following Site T&C's at least once upon joining, they are here to offer guidance, but will be applied.
When you register you agree to the rules below.
This is a support site for transgendered people and their families. It is not a sex or dating site.
Admirers should go elsewhere. Cybersex or soliciting of teens and adults is prohibited and will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
If you are looking for dating sites, may we suggest Ts Girlfriend or TG Guide.
1). Rule number 1 here is that proper pronouns will be used at all times when talking to other users. You may not refer to an MTF as a man or "he". You may not refer to an FTM as a woman or "she". We have many different gender variations here. It's not everyone who fits into the male or female gender. If you are not sure, ask. Nothing starts a gender or transgender war faster then calling someone the wrong gender or gender pronouns. It will not be tolerated here.
2). Posts are to be made in the relevant forum and Users are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting.
3). Users should remember this board is aimed at a general audience so postings should be directed at a G or PG rating level.
Posting pornographic, indecent or offensive text, images, links or other content will not be tolerated. This includes nudity or "underwear" imagery. These will be removed as soon as a Moderator is (made) aware of them! This includes both the Blog and Gallery sections of the Forums.
4). Users are asked to respect the copyright of content owners. You may not post song lyrics or images from other sites.
Posts linking to or asking for information on re-printing material without permission of the copyright owner will be removed.
5). Users should use an appropriate, descriptive title when posting a new topic. Examples of bad titles include; "intersex problem", "money", "trouble", etc.
Examples of good titles include; "Medical complications associated with adrenal hyperplasia", "What problems did you experience while transitioning?", etc.
6). Users should post a new topic under the correct forum section. Off-topic posts may be moved/removed should they become a distraction or a large part of the forum content. Follow-up posts to off-topic posts may also be removed at the Moderator Team's discretion.
7). Spam is not tolerated here under any circumstance. This includes offering hosting services (charged or free), installation services, etc.
Users posting spam will be warned and their post removed. The Moderator Teams reserve the right to edit or remove any post at any time.
The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these points is up to Team Members.
8). Personal attacks, bashing, baiting, threats, trolling, profanity, so-called "Flame Wars" and sexual innuendos are strictly prohibited and will be removed as soon as Moderators are (made) aware of them.
Posting all in CAPITALS is considered to be SHOUTING and may result in your post being refused as it is against established netiquette as well as near impossible to read easily.
9). Users may not divulge the content of private messages or moderator correspondence without the permission of the author.
10). This is not a pickup site or a dating service. If this is what you are looking for, this site is probably not for you, you may prefer to visit Ts Girlfriend.
11). Users may not publicly post any information which may reveal his or her identity. Such information includes, but is not limited to a Member's full name, address, social security number, credit card, bank account information, email address or phone number.
12). Users may not impersonate another user or access another user's account.
13). Users may not discuss bans or any other Moderator actions on the forum because such discussion usually results in a flame war.
Please ask questions via the private message system to individual Moderators.
14). The above forum rules where applicable also apply to private messaging.
Abuse of the private messaging system may lead to warnings (as above) and/or the revocation of private messaging.
15). Occasionally, there may be exceptions to the rules above and the Moderator Team reserves the right to be able to make exceptions to rules when we believe an exception may better our community.
16). Abusive or unique situations may arise that are not covered by our rules, but we reserve the right to deal with those situations in a manner appropriate to protect the integrity of our forums and community.
17). Users are prohibited from starting or participating in any discussion that aids, encourages, details, abets or facilitates illegal activity of any kind.
This includes, but is not limited to, pornographic sites and images and drug sites.
18). Users may not discuss how to obtain hormones without a prescription or their specific dosages of hormones nor encourage the taking of non-prescription drugs. ie. herbal hormones
The taking of hormones without being under a doctor's supervision is a very dangerous thing to do.
19). Users are permitted to upload an avatar image subject to the limitation that user-defined avatars are to be no larger than 90 pixels square.
Avatars should be of good taste. No nudity or up skirt shots please.
20). Profanity. Remember, this is a G or PG rating forum and posts including profanity and swearing or trying to get around the "bad word" filter will be edited or removed. This includes typing F***, this is the same as saying it. No insults or name calling.
21). No transgender wars will be allowed here. There will be respect for all categories of Transgendered. We are a mixed category site. We all need to respect each other.
22). The Teen Forum has special rules in that only teens can post but adults can reply.
"To post a new message in this forum you must be age 13 to 24, or a moderator, ages may change later." Any member though may post a PUBLIC reply and we encourage them to give you the benefit of their experience. Sexual issues may not be discussed in this forum.
23). There is no commercial advertising allowed on this site. Transgender support site links can be placed in the appropriate forum ONLY. Transgender ripoff sites may not be advertised. Nether may clothing or cosmetic sites or ebay sites. Porn, sex and drug/hormone links of any kind are also prohibited.
24). Note that this is a forum based in America, though members are welcomed from throughout the world, and as such, posts must be made in English, be if US or UK variants, thank you.
25). Users may not discuss or suggest treatments, therapies or practices that have proven to be dangerous or have caused loss of life. This site is dedicated to giving support and saving lives. Any discussions that are contrary to that are prohibited.
Laura's Playground reserves the right to amend and update the Rules & Regs as circumstances require.

Please remember that we are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message.
The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this bulletin board. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email. The Personal Message Policy
Laura's Playground Community incorporates a Personal Messaging (PM) system to provide Community members with the facility to communicate informally outside the scope of a typical forum / thread interaction. This policy defines the acceptable use of the system.
A. ELIGIBILITY & FEATURES
As a member of our Community you may use the PM system to communicate text messages to designated individuals. The use of attachments (photos, etc) is currently supported by PM. Note that as a New Member, you may find that you need to make five or more posts before you may access the full PM system.
B. NO WARRANTY OR GUARANTEES
Laura's Playground makes no warranty concerning the functionality of this service, the loss or interruption of communications, nor can we promise any 'quick fix' should down time occur.
Users are advised not to use the system for important, financial, sensitive or private communications.
Laura's Playground makes no promise that personal messages will reach their intended recipient, nor can we guarantee they will arrive in a timely fashion.
Laura's Playground reserves the right to discontinue use of the service to any user, at any time, for any reason, and without warning.
C. UNACCEPTABLE USES OF THE PERSONAL MESSAGING SYSTEM
The following are considered abuse of the PM system:
Criminal activities of any kind; Harassment; including threats or abuse of any kind.
Spam; unwanted advertising of goods, services or sites.
Gambling, chain letters or pyramid schemes.
Any broadcast communications of any kind; for example, while it is fine to share a link with a friend or to request help from a user, it is not acceptable to use the PM system to solicit donations, memberships or favors from multiple individuals in a similar manner.
Laura's Playground will cooperate with law enforcement authorities in the investigation of criminal activity and may investigate and pursue disciplinary measures, including account suspension or termination, for breaches of this PM policy.
D. The Technical Bit
Personal messages are stored on Laura's Playground Web server.
Unless we need to access these messages for legal, safety, or technical reasons, or in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy, we do not read members' personal messages.
Laura's Playground will only read messages if it has a legal basis to do so. If you feel someone has access to your Private/Personal message system please inform us immediately. Also, if you receive offensive or advertising based PMs, please inform an Administrator immediately.
If you have any questions about this PM policy or wish to report a violation, please contact an administrator or a moderator.
If you do not agree to the above terms, please do not use the PM system. It is in place purely for your protection. This policy becomes active 28 November 2007, 2200 hours GMT.
USERNAME:
You have the ability, as you register, to choose your username. We advise that you keep the name appropriate. With this user account you are about to register, you agree to never give your password out to another person for your protection and for validity reasons. You also agree to NEVER use another person's account for any reason. We also HIGHLY recommend you use a complex and unique password for your account, to prevent account theft.
After you register and login to this forum, you will be able to fill out a detailed profile. It is your responsibility to present clean and accurate information. Any information the forum owner or staff determines to be inaccurate or vulgar in nature will be removed, with or without prior notice. Appropriate sanctions may be applicable.
Note also that unsuitable usernames will not be allowed, petrajane_cd IS acceptable whilst sexual explict names such as pussy4u, pantysniffer are NOT and will result in your registration being denied. Note also that colors should not form part of your username please, this is to avoid possible offense of a racial nature, thank you.

SPAM & COPYRIGHT:
Spamming of the board with links to sales, drugs or pornographic sites will result in immediate ban and removal of posts and your user account.

Please note that with each post, your IP address is recorded, in the event that you need to be banned from this forum or your ISP contacted. This would only happen in the event of a major violation of this agreement.
Also note that the software places a cookie, a text file containing bits of information (such as your username and password), in your browser's cache. This is ONLY used to keep you logged in/out. The forum software does not collect or send any other form of information to or from your computer.
