3:05 PM [karen_h] Ok All. Welcome to the Auditorium. Our speaker today is Darleen, one of your mods who is dieing from AIDS and she is going to tell us her story in the hopes it prevents you from being where she is at now.
3:08 PM [SharleahTypingForDarleen] Hi, My name is Darleen Anderson. For those of you that do not know me, I am a 53 year old Post-Op with AIDS. I worked in NYC as a prostitute for 8 years. I also was a drug addict for 11 years. I also worked for a pimp for around 8 years. I have been beaten, slapped, and hospitalized by my pimp. I have had sex with tens of thousands of men with safe as well as unsafe protection.
3:12 PM [SharleahTypingForDarleen] I did this for my SRS and drug addiction. I have been a carrier of AIDS for over 35 years. The last 3 months, My AIDS treatments have become full blown. I was given notice by my doctor, that I have 11 months to live.

3:21 PM [SharleahTypingForDarleen] I come to this room, and have all these Crisis's and seen the boys and girls cutting themselves and doing mutilating to themselves and creating pain to go through. Me and Shar and Karen have worked so very hard to try and stop this from happening.

I had no other path to follow, I wound up in the village in NYC, I was hungry, went to a restaurant, and he talked me into prostitution. He said there was a lot of money to be made. He also told me that I could for my SRS.
